There will be roster turnover for the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team after their run to the Final Four this season.
Jordan Lee, Justice Carlton, Aaliyah Crump and Aaliyah Moore are all reportedly entering the NCAA transfer portal.

The exodus could be explained by the recruiting class head coach Vic Schaefer is bringing in for next season. According to ESPN, the Longhorns were ranked second after securing the likes of No. 8 ranked Brihanna Crittendon, No. 10 Addison Bjorn and five-star international player Joyce Isime Etute.
The latest player to signal an intent to move on is Lee, who finished second on the Longhorns in scoring with 13.2 points per game. The sophomore guard was part of the past two squads that made the Final Four and was a member of the All-Freshman Team last season.
Carlton, a sophomore forward, averaged 8.5 points and 4 rebounds over 38 games this past season. The No. 7-ranked player out of the 2024 recruiting class, Carlton picked Texas over interest from the likes of UConn, LSU, Arizona, and South Carolina. After spending most of her freshman year coming off the bench, she saw an increase of eight minutes per game in 2025-26, making 28 starts for the Longhorns.
Crump is leaving after just one year with the Longhorns. A highly touted prospect out of Minnesota, she sat out 15 games due to a stress fracture in her foot and averaged 7.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 24 games.

Moore has been at Texas since 2021, but saw the past two seasons end due to knee injuries. She was a medical redshirt after tearing her ACL during the 2022-23 campaign. Last season ended due to tendinitis in her right knee, and knee surgery forced her to miss all of 2025-26.
