The popular discount retailer filed plans for a future T.J. Maxx located at 12701 North Interstate 35, Suite 1100. This new T.J. Maxx will be within the Shops at Tech Ridge, a fully built retail shopping center in North Austin. 

The scope of work for the nearly 31,000 square foot Tech Ridge project includes the “interior build-out of a T.J. Maxx within an existing retail shell,” per the TDLR. Construction on the Tech Ridge T.J. Maxx is expected to begin May 1 and is slated to wrap up by mid-September. 

The Shops at Tech Ridge are located off I-35, stretching from Parmer Lane to Center Ridge Drive, according to the property’s Retail Connection website. Once completed, T.J. Maxx will join the shopping area’s current list of retailers like Ross Dress For Less, James Avery, Five Below and more. 

Known for its treasure-hunt style shopping experience, T.J. Maxx currently operates six Austin-area locations: Brodie Lane, Great Hills Trail, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Bastrop and Manor. In addition, the retailer has a known presence in the wider Central Texas region with stores in New Braunfels and San Antonio.
