MEET SCHEDULE



MONROE, La. – ULM track and field competes in the state of Texas for the third weekend in a row at the Texas A&M 44 Farms Team Invitational from Friday, Apr. 10, through Saturday, Apr. 11.
 

Teams competing in the invitational include the host school, Texas A&M, along with Arkansas and Texas. In-state competition will be presented by Tulane.
 
Meet Schedule –
On Friday, the field events, starting at 10 a.m., will occur directly before the running events, which will start at 6 p.m.  The events on day one include the discus, hammer throw, long jump and pole vault invite. On the track, the 200m will kick things off before the 400m hurdles, 800m and 1500m. The day will end with the men’s and women’s 5000m run, which is scheduled for 7:53 and 8:15 p.m.
 
Day two will follow a similar format, with the field events once again beginning at 10 a.m. with the women’s javelin throw, the men following after. The triple jump, shot put, high jump and regular pole vault events will also take place. Relays occurring on day two will be the 4x100m and the day-ending 4x400m races. Other running events include the women’s 100m and men’s 110m hurdles, 400m, 100m and 3000m steeplechase.
 
Last Time Out –
ULM took on a Texas two-meet weekend with the Texas Relays in Austin and the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos. Francisco Calhau was the highlight performer, placing first (65.14m) and third (65.67m) at Texas State and Texas in the hammer throw. Both of his results would rank as the top mark on the Sun Belt Conference performance list. Nathan Wade and Stafon Roach also took home podium finishes. Placing second and third in the long jump, respectively.
 
Next Up –
The Warhawks will compete in the third and final two-meet weekend with the Wake Forest Invitational and Jim Mize Relays. The meet in Winston-Salem, N.C., will be from Thursday, Apr. 16, through Friday, Apr. 17, while the Ruston meet will take place on Saturday, Apr. 18.
