GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators are making the trip to Austin, Texas and Fayetteville, Ark. to close out their regular season with a match against the No. 1 ranked Texas Longhorns and the No. 36 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. Florida will face the Longhorns on Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m. EST and will take on the Razorbacks at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday, April 12.
Entering the final stretch of the regular season, the Gators are ranked at No. 18 by the ITA, with four players being ranked in singles and one doubles pairing being ranked in the top-10. The four players ranked in singles include Pablo Perez Ramos (No. 56), Henry Jefferson (No. 69), Jeremy Jin (No. 93) and Adhithya Ganesan (No. 103), while Tanapatt Nirundorn and Jefferson are ranked at No. 9 in doubles.
Recapping the Weekend
The Gators finished up their home season against Vanderbilt, LSU and Presbyterian College, going 2-1 on the weekend. Standout performances came from Ramos who went 3-0 in singles while on courts three and five, Jefferson went 2-0 in singles and Kevin Edengren went 2-1 in singles on courts four and six while also going 2-0 in doubles with Andreas Timini.

The Texas Longhorns enter the weekend ranked in the top spot at No. 1 in the country according to the ITA. The team is currently 20-6 on the season with a record of 11-2 in the SEC, only falling to LSU and Oklahoma. Four players hold a singles ranking for the Longhorns with Sebastian Gorzny at No. 3, Kalin Ivanovski at No. 32, Sebastian Eriksson at No. 41 and Abel Forger at No. 109. In doubles, Texas has two pairings ranked by the ITA with Lucas Marionneau and Sebastian Gorzny at No. 26 and Sebastian Eriksson and Oliver Ojakaar at No. 39.

Arkansas ranks at No. 36 by the ITA this week and hold a record of 16-11 and a 3-9 conference record. The Razorbacks have two doubles pairings ranked in the top-100 with Eric Padgham and Ben Weintraub at No. 31 and Connor Smillie and Jakub Vrba at No. 85. In singles, the Razorbacks have one player ranked with Jakub Vrba coming in at No. 19 in the country.
