The Blue Hawks never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Blue Hawks, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Madilynn Grossman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ali Sanchez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Madelyn Kerrigan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
