The cost for designing the Bedford and Cheek-Sparger Road roundabout has increased by $47,000 after Colleyville City Council approved work to be added to the project at the April 7 meeting.
The overview
The new total cost for designing the project is $199,000, and the additional work includes the design of 500 feet of water line within the roundabout, according to city documents.
The whole project will add a single-lane roundabout at the Cheek-Sparger and Bedford Road intersection.
Colleyville City Council approved the original $152,000 contract with Kimley Horn for designing the roundabout at the Feb. 18, 2024, council meeting, Community Impact previously reported.
