A D.C.-born cafe chain known for its fancy toasts, smoothie bowls, and healthy juices is planting a flag in a hot Fort Worth suburb. Called Toastique, it will open in Willow Park on Saturday, April 25.

According to a release, the cafe will debut at 270 Willow Bend Dr., Suite 100, just off I-20 near the town’s retail corridor. It’s the fourth North Texas location for Toastique, joining restaurants in Addison, Flower Mound, and Dallas’ West Village. It’s the brand’s first foray to the western side of the Metroplex.

The chain got its start in Washington, D.C., when former collegiate cheerleader Brianna Keefe opened the first location in 2018. It’s since expanded to a number of restaurants across the country, including Texas outposts in El Paso and Austin.

The Willow Park location will be operated by local husband-and-wife team Justin and Brooke Clock, who say they wanted to bring something “fresh, uplifting and healthy” to their fast-growing Parker County community, west of Fort Worth. The Clocks say they envision a space that’s welcoming to all, “where families, professionals and students can enjoy nutritious food without sacrificing flavor or convenience.”

“Willow Park and the surrounding area have a strong sense of community,” says Brooke Clock in the release. “We saw a real need for a healthy, modern café that fits the lifestyle of the people who live and work here, positioned right in the heart of it all.”

Toastique’s menu includes a variety of sweet and savory toasts, including a riff on the ubiquitous avocado toast topped with watermelon radish and chili oil, and the PB Crunch Toast, loaded with bananas, granola, berry jam, and honey-roasted peanut butter.

Protein waffles, smoothies, and juices are also on the menu, along with slices of plain ol’ toast in four different flavors (including a gluten-free option) for the picky eaters in your crew.

The cafe also boasts an extensive coffee menu, which includes classic hot and iced beverages like Americanos and lattes alongside collagen-spiked creations like a blueberry-lavender latte made with almond milk and fresh berries. There’s also nitro cold brew, chai tea, matcha, and iced tea on offer, along with fresh coconut water, wellness shots, and bottled juices to take home and consume later.

To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 customers in line will receive $50 in Toastique reward dollars with any toast purchase, beginning at 8 am April 25. Opening-specials will continue into the week, including free drip coffee with any $10+ purchase on April 26, $5 juice on tap with any purchase on April 27, and free coffee or espresso drink with any purchase on April 28.

Toastique in Willow Park will be open daily, 7 am-5 pm.
