Texas men’s basketball fell to Purdue in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, and now begins the Longhorns’ first full offseason under new coach Sean Miller.

Some players will be lost to exhausted eligibility and at least one will be lost to NBA, it appears. But others have chosen to enter the transfer portal since it opened earlier this week.

The Longhorns will welcome the country’s 12th-best recruiting class, per 247Sports. Austin Goosby, brother of Texas football lineman Trevor Goosby, headlines the four-player 2026 class.

But who will Miller pick up to replace the likes of Dailyn Swain and Tramon Mark? Will anyone join players such as Cam Heide and Nic Codie in the portal?

Here are the players Texas basketball is set to lose and gain in the portal in the offseason:

Heide started 29 of 35 games this past season and averaged 5.9 points a game after transferring in from Purdue. He led the team at 45.4% 3-point shooting and and made one of the most memorable shots of the season: a late corner three to help Texas beat Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament.

Codie, a 6-foot-8 forward from Dallas, averaged4.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 15.8 minutes a game. He scored 12 points and had four rebounds in the 74-68 win over Gonzaga.

Guards Tramon Mark, Chendall Weaver and Jordan Pope have used up their eligibility, and Wilcher was the only other guard that saw action this past season. The St. John’s transfer came off the bench for 5.6 points and 1.7 assists in 18.6 minutes a game.
