Wembanyama to return for matchup against Dallas Mavericks in fight for MVP title

SAN ANTONIO – Wemby is set to return to the court after recovering from his rib injury, keeping him in the running for MVP.

“Victor Wembanyama WILL play tonight against Dallas. Went through his warmup and has the green light to go.” sources tell Don Harris.

Wembanyama was absent for the Spur’s match-up against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday, April 8, after suffering a bruised rib in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

Wembanyama needs to play at least 20 minutes in one more game to reach the league-required minimum of 65 games for award eligibility.
