LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Members from the Catholic Charities of Lubbock came together in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
The event called attention to the critical role safe adults play in protecting children.
Catholic Charities staff were joined by children from the Guadalupe Early Learning Center for a morning of activities designed to uplift, educate and celebrate childhood.
Hands-on activities along with a small petting zoo with animals from Storybook Farms were available.
