SAN ANTONIO – Local residents joined together to join the National MS Society’s push toward “a world free of MS” when Walk MS returned to Hemisfair on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

The event was held at 9:30 a.m. at the Hemisfair Park grounds at 210 S. Alamo St., San Antonio, TX 78205. Taylor Whartnaby from News 4 San Antonio and FOX San Antonio was the emcee for the event.

Participants could choose from a one-mile route or a three-mile route. All routes are accessible, and mobility devices are welcome.

The Walk MS experience is centered around the theme “Circles of Support,” which organizers describe as a way for participants to self-identify their place in the MS community.

Orange represents those living with MS; green represents those who love or support a person who is living with MS, including remembrances; and yellow represents those who support the Society’s mission.

Organizers say MS affects about a million Americans each year, and they say researchers are working to find a cure.
