The Dallas Stars officially have home ice in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Minnesota Wild.

The playoffs are set to begin on April 18, though it is not yet known what day the Stars-Wild first-round series will begin. Dallas held just a two-point lead on Minnesota in the standings earlier in the week, but the Stars’ win over the Wild on Thursday gave them a comfortable cushion in the standings with just three games left in the regular season.

Dallas wraps up its regular season schedule with a pair of road games, first on Monday against Toronto and then on Wednesday against the Sabres.
