On Sunday, the San Antonio Spurs will host the Denver Nuggets in Texas.
The Spurs are coming off a 139-120 win over the Dallas Mavericks (also at home).
Victor Wembanyama exploded for 40 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 14/23 from the field and 2/7 from three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.

For Sunday’s game, the Spurs have announced that Wembanyama is being listed as questionable on the injury report.
Stephen Michael of Pounding the Rock wrote: “The Spurs say Victor Wembanyama (rib), Devin Vassell (rib), and Stephon Castle (foot) are QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow’s game against Denver. Luke Kornet (shoulder) is OUT.”

Wembanyama is in his third NBA season (all with the Spurs).
The superstar center is averaging 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.1 blocks per contest while shooting 51.2% from the field and 34.9% from three-point range in 64 games.

The Spurs are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 62-19 record in 81 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won nine out of ten).
At home, the Spurs are 32-7 in 39 games.

The Spurs last made the NBA playoffs in 2019 when LaMarcus Aldridge was still on the roster.
That said, they will be one of the teams with a real chance to make the 2026 NBA Finals.
