The result came thanks to Kendall Prowell‘s shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brooke Reasoner, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and one stolen base while going 3-for-5. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Abby Jennings was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
