A high school teacher has pleaded guilty to having sex with two teenage boys after police received a tip-off that she was spotted kissing a 16-year-old student.
Shelby Dawn Lashombe, 25, knew that both of the boys were under the age of consent and had been family friends with one of them for years before she started the twisted affair, according to arrest documents seen by KWTX.
Neither of the boys was a student at Valley Mills High School, where Lashombe was teaching at the time of her arrest last September.

McLennan County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that the teacher was seen kissing a 16-year-old boy, according to arrest documents.
The teenager confirmed that he had sexual intercourse with Lashombe, adding that “it has happened more than once,” and the teacher knew he was underage, as stated in an arrest affidavit.
Lashombe later admitted to detectives that she was intimate with the teenager, and said that she had been seeing him for the past six months, the docs reveal.
“Shelby stated she had been friends with the juvenile’s family for years, knowing his age and that he was a student,” the arrest affidavit charges.
Lashombe also admitted to having sex with a second boy who was under the age of 17, and who attended a different school to the first victim.

In exchange for Lashombe’s guilty pleas, two counts of sexual assault against a child—also second-degree felonies—were dropped by the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office.
19th State District Judge Thomas West ordered a presentence investigation by probation officers, which he will consider before deciding to accept the plea bargain.
Lashombe’s sentencing is set for June 26.
