AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 44) – It was a beautiful night in Austin, Texas with a room full of the “Who’s Who” list of Texas News Broadcasters. Among them, our own Fox 44 team. They weren’t just there to support and attend. No, our group showed up to collect some hard-earned hardware!
FOX 44 is honored to share the news that we picked up not one, but two awards last night at the Texas Association of Broadcasters (TAB) Texas Broadcast News Awards Banquet in Austin!

First, the award for ‘Best Documentary in a Medium Market’ for our special, “Lone Star Echoes: Saigon’s Untold Stories”. Then, in a complete and welcomed surprise to the whole team, we received the final, most prestigious award of the night in our ‘Medium Market’ category for “Overall Broadcast Excellence.”
