2 people killed after car collides with parked semi-truck, officials say

Two people died after a car collided with a parked semi-truck in Fort Worth, police said.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Two people died after a car collided with a parked semi-truck in Fort Worth, officials said. 

Officers responded around 8:15 a.m. Monday to 1800 South Freeway to reports of a major accident, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department. 

Investigators found that a car collided with a parked semi-truck, the release states. One of the people in the car died at the scene and the other person was taken to a hospital, where they died, police said.
