Glossier is closing many of its stores — and Dallas won’t escape.
The beauty brand that landed in NorthPark Center is set to shutter, according to the company. Dallas is one of the nine stores that are set to close over the next two-plus years, as was earlier reported in the Business of Fashion.
The New York-based company opened in 2024 in Dallas in a corner spot at the shopping center — and is the only store in Texas. Glossier, which has about a dozen physical shops, also has online shopping options.
Glossier launched in 2014 as a direct-to-consumer beauty brand to a new generation of digitally native consumers. The business catapulted on social media and gathered fans before it arrived in North Texas.
Its lineup of products includes skin care, makeup and fragrances.
Some retailers, amid shifting tastes and new shopping methods, have come under pressure as they look to draw in customers to their physical sites. In January, Saks Global, which includes Neiman Marcus, filed for bankruptcy and later announced store closures. In 2025, retailers such as Macy’s and Kohl’s closed stores around the country, including in North Texas.
