The winning ticket was bought at QuikTrip #1866, at 3436 N. Tarrant Parkway in Fort Worth. The player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched all five white ball numbers drawn — 7, 24, 37, 42 and 57 — but missed the red Powerball number, 5. The winner added $8 to the ticket, bringing the total prize to $2,000,008.

A $10,000 bonus might be available to the retailer for selling the prize-winning ticket, as part of the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.

Powerball tickets cost $2 each and are sold at retailers statewide. Players can increase their winnings by adding the Power Play option for an extra $1, which boosts non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times, to a maximum of $2 million.

Texas has had a particularly lucky streak. In addition to the Powerball win, another Texan also recently claimed a major prize on an instant game.

The player bought the $20 ticket at Green Top C Store, located at 1203 Kilgore Drive in Henderson. The winner has chosen to remain anonymous, the Texas Lottery reports.

A $10,000 bonus might be available to the retailer for selling the prize-winning ticket, as part of the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.

The lucky lottery player won the sixth of 10 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. Million Dollar Loteria offers more than $363.5 million in total prizes, with 22 $20,000 prizes remaining and hundreds of thousands of smaller prizes still up for grabs. The overall odds of winning any prize on Million Dollar Loteria are one in 3.29, including break-even prizes.
