Texas State (12-7) was unable to secure a win in their final road game and conference matchup of the regular season, as they lost 4-1 against Arkansas State (12-8) on Sunday at the A-State Tennis Courts. The Bobcats dropped the doubles point and went 1-3 in singles. Texas State finished the regular season with 4-5 road record while winning three out of their five total conference matchups.

Doubles

The Bobcats only had one duo win the doubles portion of the day, as freshman Stoney Cooks and sophomore Charlotte Roesch notched a 6-3 win on court two.

Senior duo Emily Niers and Ireland Simme lost 6-1 on court one; sophomores Tadiwa Mauchi and Chantajah Mills went down to the wire on court three, but lost 7-5, giving the doubles point to the Red Wolves.

Singles

Freshman Anastasia Radovanovic lost by combined scores of 6-1 and 6-0 on court six. Roesch continued her strong day with a 6-1, 6-2 victory on court four. However, the rest of the Bobcat players were unable to win a single set. Niers lost 6-3, 6-1 on court one, and Cooks also lost in two sets on court five, leaving the rest of the matches unresolved as Arkansas State reached the four-point tally.

The Bobcats will wrap up their regular season at the Bobcat Tennis Complex against Tyler Junior College on April 18 at 10 a.m. Fans can watch and attend the game in person.
