The event on Saturday, April 18, will feature live music, food, and family activities to raise funds for local teens.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local church is inviting the community to come together for a day of food, music, and family fun while supporting youth programs.
The Life Teen Spring Festival will raise money to help teens at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church attends a summer conference and participates in faith-based activities.
“We foster and help the youth of our parish,” said Youth Minister Daniela Garcia. “Right now we are focused on assisting the high school youth.”
Garcia said the program offers fellowship, worship, retreats and conferences designed to help teens grow in their faith.
Festival proceeds will go directly back to the teens, helping cover travel costs and ease the financial burden on families.
“We will have music, fellowship, fun, kids zones… all those things to help raise funds,” Garcia said, adding the church is currently supporting about 30 teens.
The event will feature live entertainment, including Ruben Salazar y Lasso and La DiferenZia, along with a DJ and activities for all ages.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from noon to 6 p.m., with live music at the parish hall located at 3210 SPID. No outside coolers are allowed.
Organizers say the goal is to bring the community together while investing in local youth.
