LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Texas Tech Police have released new details on what led up to a crash that killed a Texas Tech student near campus earlier this month.
Just after 9 p.m. on April 4, Texas Tech Police were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Texas Tech Parkway and Indiana Avenue.
Police say 22-year-old Jordyn Dabelstein was stopped at a red light when she was struck from behind by a Ford F-150 traveling at a high rate of speed. The impact caused her car to be pushed through the intersection.
