LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock County grand jury indicted an 18-year-old man on weapon charges related to an incident near Estacado High School in August.
Therron Hastings Jr. is formally charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawfully having a weapon on school property.
Hastings was arrested in August near Estacado High School. A Lubbock ISD spokesperson said at the time that district police found Hastings with a gun and quickly arrested him. No one was hurt in the incident.
The district could not confirm if Hastings was a student.
