What we know:
Houston’s Hobby Airport (HOU) and Bush Airport (IAH) have grounded flights until 6:30 p.m. Both are due to severe weather.
The FAA says the stop at Bush is due to a “tornado or hurricane,” but neither has been reported in the area at this time.
A Tornado Watch is in effect for Chambers County and Liberty County until tonight. No tornadoes have been confirmed so far.
At the time of this report, both airports had a 30–60% chance of extending their ground stops.
