Walls in Segundo Barrio are getting a fresh coat of paint as the Borderland Jam brings graffiti artists back to El Paso for a weekend of live art and music.

Borderland Jam, a graffiti show, returns this year at Frontier Food and Cold Storage in Segundo Barrio, at South Cotton Street and Fourth Avenue, after celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024.

Artists have begun to black out murals dating back to two years ago to make way for new work from April 17 to 19. The weekend will be filled with live art, food, music and more.

Artists from all over come together in one space in the Borderland to create one-of-a-kind art that will remain up for a year, maybe longer, until the next Borderland Jam.

The Borderland Jam returns to El Paso after five years. A little over a hundred artists from Spain, Germany, from East to West coast and locals gather to paint during Presidents Day weekend at the return of the public graffiti art show hosted in South Central El Paso at the corners of South Cotton Street and E 3rd Avenue.
