Spurs legend Sean Elliott is headlining a special live event on Thursday, May 28, at the Brauntex Theatre, bringing decades of behind-the-scenes stories, championship memories and locker-room insight to the stage.

“Coyote Tales & Court Stories” will also feature longtime Spurs broadcaster Bill Schoening and Rob Wicall, the man behind the team’s beloved mascot. Together, the trio promises an intimate night of storytelling, fan interactions and untold moments from the Spurs’ golden years.

Elliott, a key piece of the Spurs’ 1999 championship team, remains one of the most beloved figures in franchise history. He’s best known for the unforgettable “Memorial Day Miracle,” a game-winning three-pointer during the 1999 Western Conference Finals. The team would later go on to win its first title that year. Beyond his on-court success, Elliott also made history as the first professional athlete to return to play after a kidney transplant.

The Brauntex event aims to go beyond highlight reels, offering fans a deeper look at the culture, personalities and pivotal moments that shaped the Spurs dynasty, including Elliott’s firsthand perspective playing under Gregg Popovich and alongside Hall of Fame talent.

The evening, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on May 28, will include a live audience Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask their own questions and engage directly with Spurs royalty. A limited VIP meet-and-greet experience is also available for fans looking for an even closer connection.

Tickets are now on sale and start at $54 before fees for general admission. There is a limited number of VIP meet-and-greet tickets set at $100, offering a rare chance to meet Elliott up close.

For a region already riding high on renewed Spurs excitement, the event offers something rare: a chance to relive the past while the promise of playoff basketball looms once again.
