P. Terry’s Burger Stand has set an opening date for its newest location — planned for northwest Houston — as the popular Austin-based chain continues its growth in the region.
The quick-service restaurant company on Thursday announced that its location in the Village Green mixed-use development in Cypress will open April 27. Village Green, located at 20103 Bridgeland Creek Parkway, is part of Bridgeland Central, a 925-acre master-planned community developed by Howard Hughes Corp.
“This location allows us to serve guests in a way that is both convenient and welcoming,” said Patrick Terry, co-founder and CEO, in a press release. “It’s also a beautiful building, and we’re proud to open a stand that reflects the quality and character we want guests to experience when they visit P. Terry’s.”
P. Terry’s launched in Austin in 2005 and is known for its retro flair and its commitment to using high-quality ingredients in its burgers, fries and shakes.
The regional chain counted nearly 40 locations at the end of last year, most of them clustered along the Interstate 35 corridor from San Antonio to Georgetown, north of Austin. The company has established a presence in the Houston area, opening its first restaurant in the region in Richmond in 2024, followed by a second location in Richmond and a third in Spring.
“Houston remains an important growth area for us,” Terry said. “We’re also excited about what’s ahead, including plans to expand within the Houston city limits as we grow our presence in the area.”
