LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A 17-year-old has been indicted in connection with a deadly shooting at a house party in Southwest Lubbock late last month.
Adrian Casias was indicted for deadly conduct discharge of a firearm after a shooting that killed 20-year-old Deon Lilly and wounded another.
Around 1 a.m. on September 28, officers responded to reports of shots fired near 76th Street and Chicago Avenue. Officers found Lilly with a gunshot wound. He was taken to UMC where he later died.
Lubbock arrested Casias in connection with a separate case but identified him as someone who was at the party that night.
Casias remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a combined bond of $95,000.
