LOS ANGELES — Kevin Durant landed on the Rockets injury report Friday, listed as questionable for Saturday’s playoff opener with a right knee contusion.

The 37-year-old, who has dealt with injury issues in recent years, had a remarkably healthy and effective regular season for Houston, which kicks off its first round series against the Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Durant played 78 games and missed just one due to injury — in early February with a left ankle sprain. He averaged 26 points per game and finished the season second in the NBA in minutes played. He, along with multiple other starters, rested for Houston’s last regular season game on April 12.

For Saturday, Houston will be without Steven Adams (left ankle surgery) and Fred VanVleet (ACL repair). Los Angeles stars Luka Doncic (hamstring) and Austin Reaves (oblique) are also out.
