LSU baseball’s matchup with Texas A&M on Saturday at Alex Box Stadium has been pushed up from its original 7 p.m. start time to 4:30 p.m., LSU announced on Saturday.

The game will be available to watch on SEC Network+. Further TV information will be provided on Saturday morning.

LSU dropped its series opener with the Aggies on Friday, falling 10-4 after surrendering three runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Sophomore right-hander Casan Evans allowed six earned runs in five innings and the offense went 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Schmidt gave up four earned runs and failed to escape the fourth inning last Saturday against Ole Miss. It was his shortest outing this season despite striking out seven batters. Sims surrendered three earned runs in 4⅔ innings against Texas last weekend.
