El Paso’s Star on the Mountain to shine gold, white for Usher, Chris Brown tour stop

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso’s Star on the Mountain will shine gold and white on Friday in celebration of Usher and Chris Brown’s upcoming show at UTEP Sun Bowl Stadium.

Live Nation, in partnership with the El Paso Chamber, will light the iconic star on the Franklin Mountains as part of the celebration for the artists bringing The R&B Tour to the UTEP Sun Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The public can watch the star light up live at www.elpaso.org/starlighters.

The El Paso Chamber, founded in 1899, describes itself as “the unifying voice of the Borderplex business” and says it is dedicated to fostering job growth, economic expansion and elevating quality of life.
