AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) is urgently seeking foster homes for “The Resilient 10,” a group of ten dogs recently rescued from neglect and abandonment.
The dogs were found in a trailer home after a foul odor was reported, leading authorities to discover their dire condition.

Initially cared for by Kerrville Pets Alive! (KPA!), the dogs were emaciated and in need of extensive medical care. APA! was unable to take them in immediately due to legal proceedings, but a court has now ruled that the dogs were cruelly treated, and their previous owner has been stripped of ownership.
APA! has secured four foster homes and is appealing to the Central Texas community for six more.
The organization emphasizes the need for compassionate homes and financial support to cover the medical expenses required to restore the dogs to health.
Those interested in fostering can sign up on APA!’s website, and donations are being accepted to aid in the dogs’ recovery.
