WATCH: Wild ready to begin playoff series vs. Dallas on Saturday afternoon

Despite finishing the regular season with the third-most points in the Western Conference, the Wild will be the road team against their Central Division foes, who finished with the second-most points in the conference. That means Minnesota will host Games 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary) while playing the others in Dallas.

The Wild have not advanced past the first round of the playoffs since 2015.

Watch Party

For fans who aren’t headed to Dallas, the Wild will host a watch party at Grand Casino Arena for Game 1.

The event is free and open to the public, but a valid ticket is required. Tickets can be claimed here.

Gate 1 will open at 4 p.m. Saturday, and the Wild will give complimentary LED rally towels to the first 1,000 fans.

The Hockey Lodge and some concessions will be open during the watch party.

The team says it has planned pre-game parties at the arena for all home games during the playoff series.
