A Fort Worth firefighter taken to a hospital after possible chemical exposure during a crash investigation involving liquid methamphetamine has been released, fire officials said.
Crews responded Thursday morning near 1940 Delga St., where a vehicle struck an unoccupied parked car and traveled a short distance before stopping. Two men inside the vehicle died at the scene.
During the investigation, Fort Worth Fire personnel discovered 10 buckets of liquid inside the vehicle. The substance tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine, prompting authorities to secure the scene and call in specialized units, according to police.

The Drug Enforcement Administration clandestine lab team responded to collect, analyze and dispose of the material. Police said the estimated weight of the liquid was about 480 pounds, with a potential street value between $1 million and $3 million.
The firefighter was taken to a hospital as a precaution and was later released in good condition.
