A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Gateway East Boulevard next to Interstate 10 in East-Central El Paso, a police spokesman said.

The crash occurred about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, April 18, in the 6500 block of Gateway East Boulevard near Buffalo Soldier Road, east of Geronimo Drive, El Paso police spokesman Officer Adrian Cisneros said in a message.
Gateway East Boulevard is closed as El Paso police investigate a fatal single-vehicle crash east of Geronimo Drive as traffic is diverted onto Interstate 10 on Saturday morning, April 18, 2026.
