JACKSON COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) — A Texas woman was arrested Sunday morning for allegedly driving while under the influence, her fourth offense if convicted.
A Wisconsin State Trooper conducted a traffic stop at approximately 2:38 a.m. on a vehicle that was reportedly stopped in the lane of traffic on US 12 at Riverview Road. Upon contact, the Trooper allegedly observed signs of impairment from the driver.
Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted on the driver, after which the trooper determined the driver to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
The driver, 47-year-old Noe Martinez Flores of Lewisville, Texas, was taken to a local hospital for a legal blood draw and later turned over to the Jackson County Jail.
Martinez Flores was arrested for OWI-fourth offense, failure to install an ignition interlock device, no insurance and parking on the left side of the roadway.
