Rockwall vs. Rockwall-Heath
7:30 p.m. Friday at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium
This rivalry game produced a couple of thrillers recently, with Heath winning 31-28 last year and 79-71 in double overtime in 2021. Heath (6-2, 3-1) can clinch a playoff berth with a win, while a win by Rockwall (4-4, 2-2) could create some chaos in District 10-6A. Both teams have impressive wins, with Rockwall-Heath having beaten six-time state champion Highland Park and area No. 6-ranked North Forney and Rockwall owning a win over defending 6A Division I state champion North Crowley. Heath standout quarterback Prosper Neal, who has 16 touchdown passes, was injured early in last week’s 31-7 loss to Longview and did not return.
Riddle’s pick: Rockwall 28, Rockwall-Heath 24
