Carlton announced Sunday that she will transfer to Houston. The sophomore spent the first two years of her career at Texas, but entered the transfer portal shortly after this past season ended.

A 6-foot-1 forward who was a top-20 prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle, Carlton started 28 times for Texas this season and averaged 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds. After a 15-point performance against South Carolina in the SEC championship game on March 8, Carlton earned a spot on the SEC’s all-tournament team.

Carlton joins a Houston team that went 7-23 this season with a 1-17 mark in Big 12 play. A Katy native, Carlton is also joining a team that signed her younger sister, Madison, during the 2026 recruiting cycle.
