HOUSTON – A police chase ended in a crash early Monday morning in west Houston.
According to police, the pursuit began around 3 a.m. and ended near the 6500 block of Del Rio Street and Bellaire Boulevard.
Authorities have not said why officers initially tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over, leading police on a chase that ended when the suspect crashed and overturned.
A patrol unit and a civilian vehicle were both damaged in the crash.
