Crews will restrict access on April 21 as part of safety upgrades aimed at reopening the following day.

The end of Bob Hall Pier will be closed to the public on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5:00 a.m. to midnight while crews complete concrete reinforcement work.

In a press release, the Nueces County Coastal Park stated construction teams will be on site throughout the day, making additional adjustments to strengthen the pier’s concrete surface.

Barricades and caution tape will be in place, and officials are asking the public to stay clear of the work zone and follow all posted safety markings.

The closure is temporary, with crews expected to finish work in time for the pier to reopen the following day.

Officials say the project is necessary to ensure long-term safety and durability.
