Medics assessing those involved as lanes expected to remain closed for at least two hours during investigation, police says.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A crash involving an 18-wheeler and a car has shut down northbound traffic on Highway 358 and Interstate 37 in Corpus Christi on Monday, according to police.
The Corpus Christi Police Department says the northbound lanes are expected to remain closed for at least two hours as emergency crews respond and investigate the scene.
Medics are on site evaluating those involved for injuries. No one has been transported to the hospital at this time.
Police says the investigation is ongoing and urge drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while cleanup and response efforts continue.
