DALLAS, Texas (KWTX) – Police arrested two alleged event promoters and detained dozens of individuals after detectives executed a search warrant at a warehouse they described as an unlicensed sexually oriented business.
Detectives with The Dallas Police Department’s Special Investigations Division identified a business in the 2500 block of Manana Drive operating as an unlicensed Sexually Oriented Business, according to police.
On April 17, 2026, detectives from SID, the Place Network Investigations Unit, and officers assigned to the Northwest Prostitution Task Force served a search warrant on the warehouse, police said.
Investigators determined the location was hosting a “sexual encounter center” where patrons could pay a cover fee to enter and engage in sexual contact — which police said violates the City of Dallas’ Sexually Oriented Business ordinance.
Police said 48 individuals were detained during the search. Investigators also reported seizing 227 grams of marijuana, 671 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 11,034.7 grams of THC hash oil.
Vice detectives recovered more than $11,000 in currency, multiple computers, hard drives and other electronics, as well as pleasure devices and a cargo van believed to be used in the production of pornography, police said.

Police said two suspects accused of promoting the event were taken into custody.
Israel Luna, 53, was charged with possession of a controlled substance over 400 grams, promotion of prostitution, possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds, and operating a sexually oriented business without a license, according to police.
Marc Tuton, 42, was also charged with operating a sexually oriented business without a license, police said.
The department said the other individuals detained were released at the scene and were not charged.
Police said the investigation was part of its Safe Streets Initiative aimed at combating human trafficking and prostitution.
“The Dallas Police Department is committed to enforcing all laws and ordinances related to prostitution, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation to keep everyone safe in Dallas,” the department said in a statement.
