A major crash has forced the closure of a major San Antonio highway. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), three vehicles were involved in a crash around 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20. The crash happened in Far West Bexar County off Highway 211, not far from Goodenough Lane and Potranco Road.

Officials say they got a 911 call for the major crash involving three vehicles. When deputies arrived, at least four people had to be transported to the hospital with minor injuries, BCSO confirms.  EMS and Fire also responded to the scene. It’s unclear what led to the crash.

The southbound side of Highway 211 is expected to be closed for one to two hours as crews work to clear the scene. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
