CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man has died following a fight on Mimosa Drive, prompting an investigation by the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Mimosa Drive on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 8:00 PM, in response to a reported fight with injuries, according to a press release from the department. Upon arrival, medics from the Corpus Christi Fire Department were performing CPR on a male victim, who was later transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Robbery/Homicide Division was called to the scene to investigate, and several individuals were detained and taken to the main police station for questioning. Detectives identified the offender and secured an arrest warrant for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On April 19, 2026, Justice Martinez was located and taken into custody. He was interviewed and then transported to the City Detention Center, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
