LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – George Strait will perform two shows at Jones AT&T Stadium this weekend, marking the first time the venue will host the country music artist.
Texas Tech will host an early access sale on George Strait merchandise Wednesday and Thursday in the green space area west of Jones AT&T Stadium. The sale will run from 2-8 p.m. both days and will be available to all guests, regardless if they have a ticket or not.
Parking for the early access sale will be available in the C-1 Commuter West lot west of Jones AT&T Stadium. All parking east of Jones AT&T Stadium is closed through April 27 for the George Strait production team.
A limited number of tickets remain for both shows. Dylan Gossett and Zach Top will open Friday’s show. Hudson Westbrook and Miranda Lambert will open Saturday’s show.
Lots will open at 2:30 p.m. each day. The stadium will open at 4:15 p.m., roughly 90 minutes before each show starts. Parking on any campus lot must be pre-purchased and will not be sold in person.
