Only two Austin restaurants received the Bib Gourmand award, which recognizes high-quality meals at a good value: Mercado Sin Nombre and Parish Barbecue. Nixta Taqueria, run by chef Edgar Ulysses Rico, also earned a Green Star for its commitment to sustainability. Celia Pellegrini director of operations for Este and Suerte won the Sommelier Award. Chuck Charnichart, renowned pitmaster of Barbs B Q in Lockhart, won the Michelin Young Chef Award. 

No new restaurants in Austin received the distinction this year. All seven 2024 award recipients retained their stars.

The 15 Bib Gourmand recipients from last year retained their designations.
