It’s another rainy Tuesday, April 21, morning in San Antonio and a crash on a local highway is causing congestion on the city’s west side.

The incident happened on Loop 410’s eastbound lanes at Somerset Road at around 6:35 a.m., according to the traffic monitoring site Sig Alert. The left lane and left shoulder are blocked as a result.

Vehicles are backed up to Ray Ellison Drive near Exit 3, which is a good distance way from near where it happened, at Exit 51. Delays of up to 20 minutes are expected, per Sig Alert. Drivers are moving between 14 and 40 mph.

It is unclear as to what caused the crash but Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) cameras show that roads appear wet. Several other roads in the city are closed due to flooding, Sig Alert reports.
