SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — One man is dead and another is in the hospital after two related shootings on the West Side early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 1600 block of Guadalupe Street around 4:30 a.m. on report of shots fired after a disturbance. When officers arrived, a 24-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to the San Antonio Police Department. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told investigators the suspected shooters left the scene, and as the investigation got underway more shots were fired in the 2100 block of Zarzamora Street, around two miles away from the first shooting.
SAPD says a 22-year-old man where shots were first fired was hit during the second shooting, and he was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.
There is no word on any arrests.
