AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of assaulting a woman during a fight on Sixth Street earlier this month.
The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. April 10 at Pour Choices at 401 E. Sixth St., according to the Austin Police Department.
Officers say two separate groups attacked a woman and her fiancé. The woman was punched by a bystander, fell to the ground and was then attacked by another woman. As she tried to defend herself, the suspect allegedly grabbed her by the hair and kicked her in the head. His friends tried to stop him, according to police.

The suspect is described as a heavyset Hispanic male in his early 20s with a short haircut. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with “MF” in sequins on the front. He has a black and gray tattoo on his right arm and a small tattoo on the outside of his left hand.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
