A lucky Texan is about to realize that their latest gas station pit-stop won them buckets and buckets of money. The Texas Lottery confirmed that a winning jackpot ticket was sold in North Texas this week, now all that’s left is for the winner to step forward and claim their prize.
A Lotto Texas lottery ticket worth $41 million was sold at a 7-Eleven in Mesquite, east of Dallas, on Monday, April 20, the Texas Lottery announced in a news release. The ticket matched all six numbers (21-28-33-34-43-44) and is set to doll out $22.5 million before taxes as the buyer chose the cash value option.
The jackpot was claimed after 66 drawings, seeing the Lotto Texas prize grow from $5 million on November 17, 2025 to its eventual $41 million total on Monday, the release shared. The 7-Eleven at 3700 Interstate Highway 30, Mesquite, TX 75150 also has a chance to take home $25,000 under the Texas Lottery’s Retail Bonus Program.
